Mexico Medical Mission
Dr. Joaquin Rodriguez staffs the clinic in Reynosa Mexico called the “Betty Clinic” , and when the clinic is closed he sees patients at him home near by. There is no national health care in Mexico and if people want care for minor illnesses it is Dr. Rodriguez who provides medicine and relief. Pictured here with Dan Utter an RN our medical mission teams travels to Mexico to provide assistance during the busy times. When our Dr. Wolf is able to attend, Dr. Rodriguez gets some appreciated time off.
Without Nurse Betty after whom the clinic is name, we would experience tremendous language barriers as she is the only bi-lingual staff member. The daughter of a missionary she was trained as a nurse in the United States and has committed herself to a life of love and service in the outskirts of Reynosa.
Lisa Utter, RN check the supplies of the clinic to make sure they are up to date.
