Christian Education

Our Christian Education programs begin with the belief that a commitment to follow Jesus Christ is a commitment to a lifelong journey of spiritual development. God has helped us envision a road map for our ministry of education, which is reflected in the following statement:

The members of Irvington Presbyterian Church are called by God...
      † to TEACH AND LEARN from one another;
      † to EXPLORE our common faith in Jesus Christ;
      † to ENCOURAGE one another in the consistent studying of God's Word and in the practice of our faith in the world;
      † to ENABLE one another to share our faith discoveries in an atmosphere that conveys safety, openness and real listening to all;
      † to FIND JOY in gathering together for worship and service;
      † to EXPERIENCE the freedom of the Holy Spirit in our speaking, in our silences, and in our serving together.
